Tour description:
This tour takes you to one of the world’s most active volcanoes and the beautiful tropical area surrounding it. Your tour guide and driver picks you up at your hotel and drives you to the town of Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano. The first activity is hiking around the volcano. As you hike, keep your eyes open for animals, beautiful birds and tropical plants. As our guide explains the history of this beautiful cone-shaped volcano, you might hear it rumbling or erupting!
Next stop is the famous Baldi Hot Springs for a delicious lunch. You can relax by soaking in water heated by the volcano; Baldi features pools at various temperatures set in landscaped gardens. At the end of the tour you return to your start point.
