Tour description:
Monteverde Cloud Forest is one of the most important protected areas of Costa Rica and visited by tourists and scientists alike who come to study its ecosystems and incredible biodiversity. You will be picked up at your hotel in the Monteverde / Santa Elena area and driven the short distance to the reserve.
You will spend about three hours hiking the reserve trails with a knowledgeable nature guide. Keep your eyes open for tropical birds including the Resplendent Quetzal and for mammals such as howler monkeys. After the hike, you will take a coffee cup and snack. Your driver takes you back to your hotel or your choice of destination in Monteverde or Santa Elena
